I’m an engineering leader who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, management, and research. What inspires me most is the creation and use of technology to solve real-life problems that add value to humans and businesses.

Experience

I have more than 20 years of professional experience, the majority of which was spent working at Ericsson AB in different organizations covering both products and services. I have had different roles such as senior support engineer, main technical coordinator, line manager, and head of a unit.

Education

Academically, I hold a Ph.D. degree in software engineering and technology from Eindhoven Technical University (TU/e). In addition, I have double master of science degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from Bleking Technical University (BTH) and Industrial Management with a focus on Operations and Production Management from Chalmers University of Technology.

Leadership

I have extensive leadership experience both as a formal and informal leader. My leadership style focuses on empowerment and autonomy for the teams and individuals I work with. I focus on building visions, inspiring the team, acting on bottlenecks, and, most importantly, focusing on outcomes and adapting the organization accordingly. 

Research Interest

My research interests cover software engineering topics, especially continuous practices, product-service systems, AI engineering, and xOps such as DevOps, AIOps, and GitOps. I’m also interested in operations management research, particularly the application of lean and agile in the industrial production context of software development.

Innovation

I enjoy focusing on creating an impact and finding out ways to achieve that. Thus, seeing the big picture and undersanding the end game is often the starting point.

Volunteering

I also enjoy volunteering roles, especially those related to technology and its usage in society. Currently, I volunteer with the IEEE Sweden section as the Industry Relationship Coordinator.
